Hilton Garden Inn & Sheraton Suites...
Folks who booked with the yolo group block have been moved to Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport. Yolo says they will cancel your Hilton Garden Inn reservation... but we recommend you double check to avoid a charge. We have sent the HGI booking number to all guests who contacted us for reservations on the yolo group room block.
Unfortunately we have heard from some passengers who booked Hilton Garden Inn directly with a non-refundable paid in full upfront reservation. Souds like the mob has left but there are still a good number at Hilton Garden Inn.

BYOB and other Liquor Questions
Can I Bring Liquor On Board?
A liquor and beverage consumption policy was created in order for Carnival to be able to control the liquor consumption of minors and the quantities consumed that lead to the disruptive behavior of others on board.
Liquor and Beverage Policy -- Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation
Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages onboard. However, guests 21 years of age and older only may bring one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the Supper Club. Guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages. All prohibited alcohol, additional quantities of wine/champagne or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and discarded without compensation.
Large cooler restrictions:
Carnival Cruise Lines does not allow guests to bring large coolers on board its ships. However for purposes of housing small, personal-sized coolers no larger than 12” x 12” x 12” for the purpose of housing small quantities of non-alcoholic beverages and/or medications are permitted as carry-on luggage. Screening and movement of large coolers through embarkation is an impediment to the boarding and security screening process. Therefore, large coolers are not permitted as carry-on or checked luggage.
Alcohol from Ports-of-Call & Gift Shop
Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in any Port-of-Call will be confiscated at the gangway, stored on board and retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage. Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in the ship's gift shop will be stored on board and be retained by Carnival until the end of the voyage.
Carnival Drink Menu
Note this is a sample. Prices are subject to change. When you purchase drinks on the cruise an additional 15% gratuity is automatically added. Drink purchases are charged to your 'Sign & Sail' account.

Can I access the internet while on board?
For those guests who want the option of staying connected to the rest of the world,
Carnival proudly offers access to the internet with an onboard Internet Café and
wireless networks using the ships own satellite connection. The Internet Café is
open 24-hours a day and features private terminals with the latest flat panel computer
monitors.
The Internet is accessed via C-band satellite system and utilizes state-of-the-art
compression and acceleration technologies to deliver the best guest experience in
the cruise industry. As a result, guests can feel right at home while surfing the
internet at sea. Guests will have the ability to send and receive e-mail, chat online
and access the full internet. Guests can also access their own e-mail account through
AOL, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc. Alternatively, guests will have the option to use
their very own temporary e-mail account with our “Cruise E-mail”™.
Carnival also offers wireless internet access. The Legend has a complete “Bow2stern” wireless network. The “Bow2Stern” network allows our guests (and crew) to enjoy Internet access from literally anywhere on board, including all public areas, lounges, bars and pool decks, guest suites and cabins. To take full advantage of this feature, guests should bring their personal laptops along with them, as the number of laptops available for rent onboard is limited. In addition, this network supports the latest Wi-Fi enabled i-Phones, Palm Pilots and Blackberrys.
Internet Café Price List :
To utilize the internet service, the below options are available. Please note that the internet pricing options are identical, whether an Internet Café terminal is utilized, or a laptop. All internet access charges will be billed directly to the guest's onboard “Sail & Sign” Account. In addition, when using a Café terminal, files can be downloaded as "read only" but cannot be saved, since a floppy disk cannot be inserted into the PC's. Users who bring their own laptop can read and save files without restriction.
An initial one-time Activation Fee of $3.95 applies to each user.
A basic time charge of $0.75 per minute (“Pay-As-You-Go”) is available. Minutes
are rounded to the next full minute.
Discounted "Time Plans" offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a lower
per-minute rate. These Time Plans do not have to be used in a single session and
can be used anytime throughout the cruise until debarkation; No refund for unused
minutes; Upgrading selected pricing option is not available. Plans are subject to
change.
Cruises 6 days in length and longer:
* 100 minutes for $55.00 ($0.55 per minute)
* 250 minutes for $100.00 ($0.40 per minute)
To rent a Wireless Network Card for a guest's personal laptop, the rate is $10.00 per day; Optional insurance is $3.00 per day. This allows guests to connect their laptops to the ship's wireless signal and is in addition to the Internet price plans.
A limited number of laptops are available for rent with a Time Plan purchase for an additional $10.00 per day, and optional insurance is also available.
Can I use my cell phone on the ship?

If the guest wishes to have the mini bar permanently locked, they must contact the Information Desk. The mini bar service will be locked on the night prior to debarkation. The mini bar will be stocked with premium liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks and a variety of sweet/salty snacks.
What about beach towels?

Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer?
What about a clothes iron?
A word about hangers....
A hair dryer is provided at the desk/vanity in the stateroom.
You can use and iron and ironing board in the laundry on the same deck as your stateroom.
I like to make sure there are plenty of hangers in the closet. I usually take several wire hangers from the dry cleaner with me and leave them behind when I go home.
Are there bathrobes in the staterooms?
2 Bathrobes per stateroom are provided in all categories. If a guest wishes to purchase the bathrobe, they are available at a cost of $49.
Are there electrical outlets in the staterooms?
There is one electrical outlet in each stateroom located in the area of the desk/vanity. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt and a 220 volt plug. The outlet in the bathroom can only be used for electric razors.
Tip: We travel with a power strip and extension cord
Is there a safe in each stateroom?
For our guests' convenience and security, a safe is provided in every stateroom
and is located in either the closet or a cabinet. The size varies among the fleet;
approximate size: 10"(wide) x 9"(high) x 8"(deep).
On the following ships, guests must obtain a key from their room Steward. There
is no charge; however, a $40 fee will be charged to their Sail & Sign Account
in the event the key is lost or not returned by the last evening of the cruise.
On all other ships, the safe can be opened by using any type of card with a magnetic
strip on the back, such as a credit card.
How high are the balcony railings?
The height of the balcony rail (glass rail) is 45" high.
The stateroom door leading out to the balcony has a safety lock that is located
approximately 65" from the floor. Safety lock on room door out to balcony.
Balcony door are hinged… they do not stay open on their own.
Can I wash my clothes while on board?
Self-Service Launderettes:
Each ship has at least 2 self-service launderettes located on the stateroom decks.
There are two or three washers and dryers, and one iron and ironing board in each
launderette. The cost is $2.00 per washer load and $2.00 per dryer load. Vending
machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener at $1.00 per box.
Note: Due to local environmental requirements, the washing machines in the guest' launderette will be closed in port, per each ports specific requirements; the dryers and irons will be available for guest use.
Do You Do Anything Special For Special Occasions?
Wedding anniversaries, birthdays and honeymoons can be celebrated in the dining room with a cake presented to the guest by the dining room staff. Cakes available in various sizes and flavors; visit our “Gifts” web-site or call 1-800-522-7648. Arrangements need to be made at least one week prior to sailing by the travel consultant. All other occasions, such as a graduation, promotion, etc. cannot be arranged in advance but arrangements can be made on board directly with the Maitre d'.
What is the Fountain Fun Card?
The soda card... approximately $38 per person. Carnival will offer to all guests the option to purchase a "Fountain Fun Card" which will allow them unlimited soft drinks for the duration of the cruise at a one time purchase price (including gratuities). The "Fountain Fun Card" can be purchased at the casino, lobby and pool bar onboard the ship. In all locations where beverage service is offered, guests may receive a glass of the soft drink of their choice - one glass will be served at a time and only to the guest whose name appears on the card. The card cannot be used through room service.
NOTE: A 15% gratuity will automatically be added on at the time of purchase of the Fountain Fun Card.
What is the tipping policy onboard?
Service Gratuities -- For your convenience, Carnival automatically charges the gratuities for dining and stateroom staff. You have already paid this in the cost of your cruise. You have paid $150.94 per person included $80.94 in government tax and $70 in pre-paid gratuities. Here is how it breaks down:
The total amount is $10.00 per guest, per day (our recommended guideline) as follows:
$ 3.50 Per Day Stateroom Services
$ 5.50 Per Day Dining Room Services
$ 1.00 Per Day Alternative Services: distributed to other kitchen and hotel service
staff
Carnival Staff is totally committed to exceed your expectations in every way possible.
If you are not satisfied with the service you receive, we encourage you to contact
the Purser’s Information desk while onboard. This will allow us to address your
concerns in a timely and appropriate fashion. At your discretion, you may adjust
the gratuities at any time.
For beverage purchases, fifteen percent of the bill is automatically added to the Sail & Sign charge. Room Service staff may be tipped as service is rendered. Tipping your Maître d’ is at your discretion, based upon the service you receive.

Inside Scoop Formal Night/Lobster Night- The Swinger Cruise says:
Most 7 night cruises have 2 formal nights. On this sailing you will only have one
formal night. BUT... Never fear lobster night is still there!
Monday:
Rumor has it this will be Lobster Night. Dress code sexy resort casual. So don't
skip dinner on Monday after a long day of partying on our first sea day.
Friday:
Formal night. The theme party"Glitz & Glamour" - they are calling
dress code 'lifestyle formal' which is sexier & skimpier for the ladies. Lifestyle
Casual for men is less formal dress code than a traditional formal night. The entertainment
director tells us that this could even be as bold as a g-string and bow tie for
guys... although I think that would be better for the theme party and a bit more
covered for dinner.
Late Night Dining: Looking for some thing late night? Soft Ice cream and Frozen Yogurt is available 24 hours a day in the Unicorn Cafe/ Lido Deck Restaurant. The Pizzeria in the Lido Restaurant is also open and serving oven-baked pizza with a variety of toppings along with garlic rolls and Caesar Salad.
Is there room service?
Room Service is available 24 hours a day with a selection of sandwiches, beverages, desserts and fruit; a continental breakfast is available during the morning hours.
Theme Party Inside Scoop
Ok here is the inside scoop. On March 13 we had a great conversation with the Entertainment Director for the cruise... there are allot of fun suprises planned. Each theme party will have contests and prizes and they might not be what you expect! We can't let the cat out of the bag, but it sounds FUN. Be creative when you plan your attire... nothing is off limits!
As of March 9 yolo did post an update about daily activities and theme parties...Here is what is listed so far. There really hasn't been any changes from the original list and a bathrobe party has been added. The "subject to change" disclaimer appears at the top of the list. It also sounds like the parties will be held on the lido deck from 11:00 pm - 4:00 am.
Here is what yolo has to say: A: Some of the theme nights are available on our website, but our Entertainment director is working hard on finalizing the list and locations for you. As soon as he has, we will be sending out a detailed list.
|
Theme Party |
What to Expect: |
|---|---|
|
Sunday |
Casual Attire + One Hour Open Bar |
|
Monday |
Attire: Something to show off your assetts. We imagine we will see fetish wear and bare bottom school girl and daisy duke styles. + Best Ass Contest. We also plan to bring somethings to spanky with... fur paddle, riding crop etc. |
|
Tuesday |
Attire: Lingerie |
|
Wednesday |
Attire: Boots n' Puss <lol> leather and lace are recommended although we have heard some creative suggestions for the 'puss' part. We have also thought of it as a choice of leather or lace... "some girls have leather & spice, some are lacy and nice" |

Thursday
|
Bad on the Boat in Belize Lido Deck Party
Remember a bad day on The Swinger Cruise is WAY better than a day at the office! |
|
Thursday
|
Attire: This one isn't well defined. The theme is about pastels and yolo recommend
neon-pink and black but hey? sure.. why not.
|
|
Friday |
There was some confusion about this. I think we have figured out that the formal dinner and Glits & Glamour theme parties are two different things. Attire: This is the formal night. No official yolo word on what dress code is for dinner. We are going to follow Carnivals guidelines for dinner and get sexier for the 'Glitz & Glamour' party later that night. The theme party 11 pm - 4 am will be "Lifestyle" formal... that means any thing goes, if its sexy wear it! Even a bow tie & g-string for guys if they dare... sexy sluty elegance for the ladies.
Carnival Guideline formal Dinner: Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you‘d like to show off your evening gowns, that's great too! Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Elegant dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, jeans, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats. |

a FAQ with some breaking new about nudity and when swim suits are required.
Q: Where is nudity allowed? A: The only areas where full nudity can take place are in the play rooms and by the pools. Partial nudity is allowed inside of the theme parties. Outside of that, all genitals (including, but not limited to bare bottoms) must be covered.
Q: Do you have to wear a bathing suite while in port?
A: Yes. This is a very strict rule that will be enforced.

What Should I wear? Hints on things to pack
Carnival is fun! Keep that in mind when planning what to pack. Do you have a fantasy to dress like a dominatrix all week? THIS would be the place you can live out that fantasy. We don't anticipate many 'dont's on this ship.
Day time: Casual & Sports wear
Evenings: Resort Casual and Theme party wear
Mr. Swinger Cruise's Sample Attire:
Pool side
~ swim trunks which will stay on about seconds after he hits the pool deck. 30 spf
Sun screen especially on less tan parts! Boonie hat, sun glasses, flip flops. Tank
top to put on for grabbing lunch in the lido deck buffet.
Dinner~ khaki pants, silk Hawaiian print shirt, loafers
Friday - Formal Night dinner~ Tuxedo
Mrs. Swinger Cruise's Sample Attire:
Her sample pool attire
~ bikini, pareo, flip flops, large hat & sun glasses.
' Jam out with your clam out'
Dinner
~ sexy bra, thong panties, thigh high vinyl boots...
ok, while she would like to stop there add a sleeveless mini dress, shoulder wrap
(the a/c is always cranking) and vinyl pocketbook to match the boots (in side the
pocketbook: pink lipstick, condoms, lube and mini whip)
Friday - Formal Night dinner
- full length open back black dress
The Swinger Cruise says: In your carry on be sure to have essentials for the first evening. Dress code for the first night is usually a very casual. Depending on all sorts of things you may not have your suitcase delivered to your cabin before dinner. Plan accordingly.
What about a tuxedo or suit and tie? The Golden Fleece supper club provides an upscale dining experience for an added $30 per person. They also requests dressier attire. If you plan to make a reservation men should consider packing a coat and tie. You could get away with something less but you know we love you men looking sharp.
What about other things to pack?
A few other things we like to take on vacations are extra wire hangers, air fresheners
(remember candles are a no-no on ships), travel size fabreeze, something for 'mood'
lighting, music (we are taking i-tunes and a portable speaker), power strip with
a long cord, bungee cord, big insulated sippie cups, clothes pins (multiple and
dual uses)
Do you have luggage restrictions?
Guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to two suitcases per person, with each suitcase not to weigh more that 50 pounds and not exceed 16"h x 24"w x 30"length. Please attach your Carnival Cruise Lines luggage tags PRIOR to leaving home and make sure that they are still on your bags when checking in with us. In many ports, guests have the option of carrying luggage on board at embarkation and off the ship at the end of the cruise as long as it does not exceed 24"w x 16"h. This is an advantage you may want to consider as it will allow for quicker easier access to your bags.
Please note that Carnival assumes no responsibility for carry-on luggage. Alternatively, curbside porters are available at the pier to take luggage to the vessel for delivery to your stateroom by shipboard personnel. Customary tip is $1 per bag. Please be sure each piece of luggage is locked and has a tag listing your name and stateroom number. Curbside porters are not employees of Carnival; therefore, if you experience any problems, please report them to porter management on site. Any luggage left at the pier will be forwarded at your expense. Claims for luggage loss or damage must be made in writing to the debarkation personnel prior to leaving the pier area.
If you are traveling by air, please remember that each airline has its own luggage restrictions on the maximum number, size, and weight of bags allowed per person. You are responsible for contacting you airline to learn about their individual luggage restrictions and policies.
Embarkation – 12:30 pm The Embarkation Check-In Process:
We plan to arrive at the terminal around noon. We know there will be a little wait but we like to get onboard early. Plan to arrive at the pier and check in BEFORE 3:00 pm. Check in closes 1 hour prior to sailing. The ship will sail promptly at 4:00 pm with or without you!
Security Checkpoint: Guests will pass through the X-ray Security Machines with their carry-on bags. Luggage larger than 24" x 16" will not be permitted through the security machine and must be checked-in with a curbside porter.

Having Trouble?
Carnival Fun Pass Hot Line 866-236-6670 x 70525
The Swinger Cruise Says - Insider tip: Bag tags are the final page
of the ‘My Documents’ section. There is some system error and we were unable
to get our bag tags to print – Our error message was ‘Unable to Find Itinerary Information
For This Ship.’ This DOES NOT mean there is no itinerary for our cruise, the
system is still updating. I called Carrnival and they assured me that
if I was unable to print bag tags I could also obtain bag tags from the porter at
the pier. No problem!
After you print your fun pass take a look around.
You can now book tours, spa treatments, dinner reservations at the supper club and
more.
The Swinger Cruise Says - Inside Scoop: Set up your sign and sail account with a credit card, not a visa or m/c debit card. Carnival will put a 'hold' on the card and past Carnival cruisers have found it inconvenient to have a large hold placed on their bank account.
Getting on the Ship...On the day of the cruise guests will proceed to
the Check-In area. The embarkation process will include submitting cruise documents,
showing proof of travel documentation and issuing a credit card (if applicable)
for their Sail & Sign Account.
All guests must activate his/her Sail & Sign Account with a credit card (Amex,
Visa, Discover, JCB, Visa/ MasterCard gift cards and MasterCard ) or opt to pay
with cash. The credit card must be present at embarkation and the cash is deposited
on board at the Information/Purser’s Desk.
Each guest will be issued a Sail & Sign card, which is used to
(1) charge on their Sail & Sign Account
(2) access their Stateroom Key
(3) get on/off the ship
The Security Personnel will take guest’s Sail Sign Card and with the onboard security system, imbed a full color, digital photograph together with personal database information directly onto the Sail Sign Card.
What is the earliest I can book my return flight?
Tampa - earliest return flight after 11:30 AM
Debarkation Baggage Advice – While onboard, you will be given numbered debarkation tags to place on your luggage. Please fill out the information on the back of the tag, and remember your zone number. when your zone is called, please proceed off the vessel to claim your luggage. It is easy to pick up the wrong bag, so check to make sure your name is on it. If your luggage is left at the pier, it will be forwarded to you at your expense. Claims for lost or damaged luggage must be made in writing with our debarkation personnel before you leave the pier area.
