Is this a good itinerary? I don't know these ports!

In a word we call this itinerary AMAZING. Azamara specializes in destination emersion and authentic local experiences. Many of these ports might be unknow to the 'Sun & Fun Caribbean Crowd' but you will find that they are truly undiscovered gems. Take a look at the informative videos or the photos at the top of the page that will give you a peak at what is instore.
Venice, Italy
"The Grand Canal of Venice is the most spectacular 'high street' in the world. The beautiful palaces were constructed over hundreds of years and slowly the Grand Canal became what it is today.
In a word, Breathtaking. Last trip to Venice we got a kick out of traveling by vaperetto to explore this city, but our one night there simply wasn't enough.
We are planning to arrive 2-3 days before the Quest sets sail to enjoy a weekend in Venice and adjust to the time change from the eastern United States. On my must do list for this visit are Murano Glass Factory, an evening sipping cocktails and enjoying the orchestras at one of the cafes on St. Marks Square, an evening gondola ride. We hear the leading cruise DJ may also lead a nightlife tour to try to find the rocking side of Venice (if one exists.)
Harv - The St. Tropez of Croatia
Swim in the most beautiful deep azure waters, visit castles with views of lavender hills, stroll through charming old towns that dip their toes in harbors afloat with gorgeous yachts.
If the Croatian coast is the "New Riviera" then Hvar is the St. Tropez of Croatia. This is an undiscovered hang out for the rich and famous, the young and beautiful, and owners of gorgeous luxury yachts. Sounds like the perfect first stop for this lifestyle cruise!
Split Croatia - The home of beautiful women
Split has been removed from the updated itinerary to give us more time in the other ports.
Kotor Montenegro
Did some one say James Bond? You might have caught a glimps of Kotor in the film "Casino Royale" or maybe you heard of Our Lady of the Rock.

Azamara has recently revived a 500-year old tradition – the placing of a stone on the island of the Lady of the Rock. The endeavor began when the Azamara Club Cruises’ crew learned the origins of the island, where local fisherman from Perast found an icon of the Virgin and Christ on what was then a small rock in 1452. Since then, sailors venturing to sea made an offering for a safe voyage by adding a stone or small rock, leading to the formation of the only artificial island in the Adriatic and the base of the current Church of the Lady of the Rock.
Dubrovnik Croatia - The Pearl of the Adriatic
"The look and feel of the Greek Islands, the cafe culture of Paris and the romance of Venice"
George Bernard Shaw once said,"If you want to see heaven on earth, come to Dubrovnik." Yes, it really is that beautiful. Not only will you find this part of the country to be one of the most beautiful places in Croatia, but you’ll also find it to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Here you’ll find intimate restaurants, great food and wine, friendly locals and beautiful beaches. When you cross a wooden bridge past the gate towers and enter the 1300 hundred year old walled city you’ll feel like you’ve taken a step back in time. Almost untouched by the modern world you can almost hear the medieval stone walls whisper stories of a long gone era.
You can take a walk along the top of the walls and no matter where you look you’ll be mesmerized by the panoramic views of the town's red-tiled roofs set against the sparkling blue Adriatic Sea. Dubrovnik’s World Heritage listed walled city as one the most enchanting places on earth. So if you’re bit of a romantic, this is definitely a place for you.

IMORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE INVOICES FROM "Luxury Lifestyle Cruises:
We have found the invoices to be a bit confusing. Under Daily Charges the invoice lists the "Total price in USD." This amount does not include the taxes/fees and is not actually the TOTAL price. It is the total before taxes/fees.
Example from the 2011 sailing: Outside Cabin is $1999 per person.
Total daily charge of $3998. PLUS the $250 per person taxes/fee = $4498 total for 2
Luxury Lifestyle Cruises says as of April 19, 2010 they plan to improve the wording on the invoice to eleviate this confusion. We will update this site as we see the changes.
