Shipboard Rules for the Cruise set the tone:
- Playful sexual contact during the day is fine at the pool.
- Serious sexual play is limited to the Nautilus playroom, your cabin and the aft pool and hot tub areas at night. (We love the outdoor play area!)
- For the theme parties it's as sexy as you dare right down to nothing if that is your pleasure! No themes the first and last night.
- You must wear clothes when dining in the restaurants (you can be sexy and see through but please cover the naughty bits)
- You must wear clothes when leaving the ship and when docked.

Q: This is a small ship right?
A: Windstar Windsurf accommodates 156 couples. Is that really small? It is about 50% larger than Desire and about 50 rooms smaller than Hedonism II. In a word it could be... just right.
Q: Will I get sea sick since this is a sail boat?
A: The Windsurf has sails but it is also a fully stablized cruise ship. Guests on CruiseCritic.com report feeling that this ship is more stable than many of it's bigger ships. So, Yes, there are sails, but it's certianly not a sail boat.
Q: Is it difficult & expensive to fly to St. Martin?
A: I booked non-stop flights on Continental Airline from Newark to St Martin (SXM) for $423 per person. My total flight time is 4 hours and 12 minutes. We found non-stop flights from JFK, EWR, CLT, ATL & MIA. The flights from the central part of the US and West Coast are more time consuming to fly to the Caribbean, especially if you fly to one of the better destinations.
Q: How do I know this is a good cruise?
A: Well, you can take our word for it, or listen to the raves from past cruisers, or just check last year's travel awards! In 2010 Windstar won the following honors:

Q: Isn't 'Shoes Only' just a nudist brand?
A: No. While Shoes Only has the most liberal nudity policy of any of the lifestyle cruises it is not just a nudist brand. Shoes Only provides an erotic & sensual environment for couples and single females. Nudists would be welcome, but the environment is very sexy.
Q: Aren't the drinks expensive on a cruise? Won't I have a huge bar bill?
A: Depending on how much you drink the answer to that might be 'yes,' But why worry about it? Shoes Only Charter offers an all inclusive drink package option on this sailing. Can anyone say "buckets of champagne for the blond?"

Highlights from the 2011 Cruise
- In Virgin Gorda we spent the afternoon playing on the trampoline and floating mats off the back of the swim platform. Those more athletically inclined did water skiing and windsurfing.
- In Tortola I skipped the shore excursions and opted for a day at the spa to work out all the kinks dancing and late night partying had put in me.
- Erotic massage with a happy ending... yes for ladies too! I'm not kidding. This was a very sensual and brilliantly done erotic journey. The masseuse was prebooked before the ship sailed and I can tell you why if you give a call to discuss it.
- Watching the captain of the ship on the dance floor with a lovely naked female guest wearing only his officers coat! The crew of this ship really understand and support the lifestyle atmosphere.
- Photographing and being photographed on the giant granite boulders on the beach at the Baths.
- Swimming naked in the surf in St. Barth
- The Lobster & Pig Roast held on the back of the ship at night in St. Barths - caribbean music filled the air and the decorative lights hung from the ships rigging. White table cloths, candles and wine... combine that with a ship of hot sexy couples. You get the idea that this was something special.
- Sex on the back deck of the ship under the stars cruising thru the caribbean sea... Sex in the nautilus play room... Sex in the cabins of new friends... yeah this was a GREAT trip!

On a first listen it might seem a bit dramatic. I've included it because it's one of the things that takes me back and gives me a shiver of excitement every time I hear it. I've been listening to it over and over and it just makes me smile.
