Thu 24 Aug 2028 – Fly into Reykjavic for overnight in airport hotel – transfers included
Carved by ancient ice and framed by steep granite walls, Evigheds Glacier flows directly into a narrow fjord, creating a dramatic meeting of ice and sea. The glacier is known for frequent calving, with towering chunks of ice breaking away and drifting into the fjord. The surrounding waters and tundra are rich in Arctic life, and the stillness of the landscape is broken only by cracking ice, seabirds overhead, and the distant echoes of moving glaciers.
Qeqertarsuaq is the largest town on Disko Island, Greenland’s largest island, where colourful houses pop against dramatic red basalt mountains. Overlooked by striking Lyngemark Glacier, the area is shaped by its volcanic origin, unique terrain featuring dramatic basalt columns, rolling hills black sand beaches. Thanks to its relatively fertile landscape, it supports unique plant species, such as wild angelica, rarely found elsewhere in Greenland.
Set beneath a striking heart-shaped mountain, Uummannaq is one of Greenland’s most visually dramatic settlements. This small island town is deeply rooted in Inuit culture and traditional hunting life. Colorful houses cling to the rocky shoreline, while nearby icebergs drift slowly through the fjord. The surrounding waters are rich in seals and whales, and the ever-changing light, ice, and mountains give Uummannaq a quiet, almost otherworldly atmosphere.
One of Greenland’s most active tidewater glaciers, Eqip Sermia spills directly into the fjord, offering a front-row view of the ice in motion. Massive ice walls regularly calve into the water below, sending waves across the fjord and filling it with freshly broken ice. Sailing through the iceberg capital of the world to Disko Bay, the Ilulissat Icefjord is one of the cruise highlights. Given UNESCO World Heritage Site status, the Ilulissat Icefjord is a popular tourist destination, and thanks to the productive Sermeq Kujalleq glacier, thousands of gargantuan icebergs calve from the Greenland ice cap into the sea. The city of Ilulissat is home to many sled-dogs.
The second largest town in Greenland, just above the Arctic Circle, Sisimiut remains remarkably ice free in winter and is known as an adventure sports hub all year round. Inhabited for more than 4,500 years by the Dorset, Thule and eventually the Inuit people, dog sledding remains a vital form of transportation. The area is home to humpback whales and Arctic foxes in their summer coat.

By submitting payment, Guest acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
• 15% Deposit due at time of registration.
• $500 per person of the deposit is non-refundable upon payment.
• 30% First Installment due February 1, 2027.
• 30% Second Installment due August 1, 2027.
• Final Payment due February 1, 2028.
NON-REFUNDABLE DATE
• Effective August 1, 2027, all payments made are 100% non-refundable.
• No refunds will be issued for any reason after August 1, 2027.
Failure to Make Payment
• Failure to make any scheduled payment by its due date may result in automatic cancellation.
• All applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
PAYMENT METHODS
• Credit Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
• Charges will appear as “Preferred Travel Partners.”
• Guests may pay the full balance on or before February 1, 2027 via Zelle, Venmo or check and receive a 5% reduction on the balance.
• The 5% reduction applies only to full cabin balance paid by Zelle, Venmo or check on or before February 1, 2027.
• Partial payments do not qualify.
• Discount does not apply to prior payments already made.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the Guest’s travel advisor. Cancellation is effective on the date written notice is received.
Cancellation Penalties
• After deposit: $500 per person non-refundable.
• August 1, 2027 and thereafter: 100% of all payments non-refundable.
• Cancellation deadlines apply regardless of booking date.
• No refunds will be issued for unused services, late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.
TRANSFER POLICY
Transfers are not a right and may be granted solely at Rockstar Adventures’ discretion.
Eligibility
• Transfer requests must be submitted in writing.
• Transfers must be requested prior to August 1, 2027.
Conditions
• Transfers apply only to the movement of funds to another Rockstar Adventures departure.
• Reservations may not be transferred to another person.
• Name changes are only permitted if allowed by the cruise line and approved in writing.
• Transfers are subject to availability and current pricing at time of rebooking.
• Any price increase must be paid by Guest.
• Transferred funds remain non-refundable.
• If the new reservation is cancelled, all transferred funds are forfeited.
• Transfers are permitted one time only.
• Rockstar Adventures reserves the absolute right to approve or deny any transfer request for any reason.
EXCEPTION CLAUSE
Rockstar Adventures may consider written requests for exception due to extraordinary circumstances. Approval, if granted, is solely at our discretion and does not create precedent for future requests.

Itinerary Flexibility
All ports, landings, Zodiac excursions, wildlife sightings, sailing routes, and daily activities are subject to change without notice due to weather, ice conditions, government regulations, operational requirements, or the Captain’s sole discretion. No specific landing, excursion, wildlife encounter, or destination can be guaranteed.
Expedition Experience
The Captain and Expedition Leader will make all decisions with guest safety as the highest priority. Changes to the published itinerary do not constitute a cancellation of the voyage and are not grounds for refunds, credits, or compensation.
Charter Flights
Roundtrip charter flights between Keflavík (KEF) and Greenland are included as part of this expedition. Flight schedules, aircraft type, routing, and departure times are subject to change. Delays or schedule adjustments may occur due to weather or operational requirements.
Physical Requirements
This voyage includes walking on uneven terrain, embarking and disembarking Zodiac boats, climbing stairs, and navigating potentially slippery surfaces. Guests should carefully consider their physical abilities before booking. Certain shore excursions may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility.
Medical Facilities
Greenland is an extremely remote destination with limited medical facilities. Emergency medical evacuation may be delayed by weather or location. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel.
Expedition Risks
By booking this expedition, guests acknowledge that travel to remote polar regions involves risks beyond those associated with conventional travel, including severe weather, changing sea conditions, limited infrastructure, and unforeseen operational changes.

This voyage is operated by Swan Hellenic. Transportation, accommodations, excursions, and expedition services are provided by independent suppliers. While Rockstar Adventures carefully selects their travel partners, they are not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, mechanical issues, schedule changes, weather-related disruptions, or other events beyond their control.

The outdoor bbqs at lunchtime was always delicious as well.
Saving the best part for last was the amazing staff! It is an outstanding cruise line as it is but the staff is what makes it exemplary and truly unequaled from the rest!
We enjoy smaller ships and this was the smallest we have cruised on other than riverboats. The ship is well appointed and very easy to get around. It is a lovely ship!
The staff were all very friendly, efficient and willing to help you in any way they could. They work very hard and always have a smile on their face!
