This itinerary spans the entire Rhine River from Amsterdam to Basel, Switzerland.
Wondering when to arrive in Amsterdam or depart out of Basel?
- For Rockstars flying into Amsterdam on June 2028 make sure your flight arrives prior to 2pm.
- If you’re flying out the same day as disembarkation from Basel, you can schedule your flight as early 8am. Uniworld offers complimentary transfers to the Basel airport.
- If you’re flying out the same day from Zurich, you will want to schedule your flight after 12pm. You can arrange a private transfer, which takes 1 1/2 – 2 hours in normal traffic.
Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.
History buffs will enjoy an expertly led tour through Cologne’s Old Town, where three medieval gates remain standing, as does the old city hall with its Renaissance façade. Wander through the city’s historical center and take in its charming atmosphere, narrow alleyways flanked by old houses, and countless breweries. No matter how you choose to explore Old Town, you’ll also have ample free time to explore on your own.
Koblenz is a German city on the banks of the Rhine and the Moselle, a multinational tributary. Koblenz was established as a Roman military post by Drusus c. 8 BC. Its name originates from the Latin cōnfluentēs, meaning ” confluence.
Experience Germany’s fabled Rhine River in beautiful Rüdesheim. Enjoy a private tasting of estate-grown Rieslings at Castle Vollrads or explore Rüdesheim and the impressive Niederwald monument.
The Rhineland-Palatinate region of Germany is known for its idyllic natural environment, rural charm, and expansive vineyards. Forge an authentic connection to this beloved area on one of two unique experiences, led by locals with unique passions. For your first option: meet an estate turning Palatinate winegrowing tradition on its head—where the vineyards don’t produce grapes for wine, but for specialty vinegar aperitifs. At the other, visit a mill-turned-collector’s-museum, where you’ll find a fascinating collection of items from around the world and a gorgeous garden.
Breisach is your gateway to the Alsatian wine road and your launching point for an excursion along the celebrated Route des Vins, which hugs the foothills of the Vosges mountain range.
Disembark the ship. If your cruise package includes a group departure transfer or if you have purchased a private departure transfer, you will be transferred to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg for your flight home (unless, of course, you’ve decided to extend your trip with the post-cruise extension to Octoberfest).

- Is this a full ship charter?
YES, it is a full-ship charter filled with like-minded couples. This is a new option we are excited to offer to our guests who may be looking to try new destinations. - Are there playrooms etc?
Nope, Rockstars don’t need playrooms to figure out how to have fun. - How about nudity?
We’ve been informed that topless-optional is only permitted when not in port during the day, but since that does not happen with this itinerary come on board expecting topless to not be an available option. - Will there be other fun couples on board?
Rockstar Adventures started as a group of friends who would always coordinate their trip to Jamaica. Since then they’ve started to branch out and travel the world creating a whole new network of wonderful friends. Payment schedule is as follows:
- Deposit of 15% due upon registration. $500 per reservation is non-refundable
- First installment of 30% is due September 1, 2026
- Second installment of 30% is due April 1, 2027. ** On June 2, 2027 all payments become nonrefundable. No refunds.
- Final payment is due by December 1, 2027 and is nonrefundable. No refunds.
Reduced Fare Offer
Make full payment at time of first installment, September 1, 2026 by Zelle and your balance will be reduced by 5% per cabin.

Shortly after final payment most full ship charter cruises become non-refundable.
